so WHY do you lose the sticky tape when wrapping the xmas pressies and then find it when your packing the paper away?

Why do I look in the fridge repeatedly for "something good" to eat even though I just checked it minutes earlier and found nothing?

Why do some people (mostly old ones) never have their money ready at the supermarket checkout, always look surprised at the price and then proceed to fiddle about getting the exact cash out, once they have found their purse of course?
 
Why did I have to spend the last 3 hours in the ER with chest pain and trouble breathing, just to find out that it's just the remaining air from that stupid surgery???????????????????

The gas in that area from the surgery, is very painful and painkillers dont work because there are no nerves between the epidurmis and the lining..something like that I forget, sure some one will correct me.

The best thing to do is push it out, by walking, lying on your stomachor bring your knees up to your chest or walk around the floor like a dog, looks dumb but it works. Been there done that! Hope you have some relief!

Thanks! Last night, I did a lot of burping and coughing (especially the coughing that kept me up but, luckily, didn't keep Josh up!) which has helped... and you're right - the stupid Percs they gave me doesn't touch it at all.
 
Why is it that Bulldogs are supposed to hate heat, but mine lays directly in front of the space heater, and then pants like crazy when he gets too hot, BUT DOESN'T MOVE???

why do people park on the pavement blocking it? and when you ask them to move it they say they don't want it hit by the passing traffic... like they give a flying f... about me having to walk into that self same traffic to get round their stupidly parked car!

why do people with children park on the pavement and then struggle to get pushchairs/children/babies/etc out of the door whilst banging it again the garden wall. If they didn't park on the pavement they would have got their precious children/belongings out the car without bother.

why do smokers think that you really like their smoke so blow it your direction, or up to the ceiling - where the frig do they think it's going to magically go?!, or drive one handed puffing away with the window open. I have frigging asthma FFS I don't want your F'ing smoke it makes my lungs shut down and I can't frigging breath - and that is frigging scary, so WTF would I want it! Ever!

Why is it that I have gone through the same area for 4 years and very cautious of my speeding and nag my husband to death about speeding and Iget pulled over by Ontario's finest! Haven't had a ticket in over 25 years and he gave me a lecture and told my daughter to tell my husband, that was punishment enough lol, he has me on his warning list, so I will use my cruise control going that way, I was doing 70km at a 50km zone...:ybatty:

...because I have to get a cv and a rate to the original guy this afternoon. The job is me. It really is. I tick all the boxes. It ticks all the boxes. And it's contract so I can name my price and if they fall off the chair that's their problem. Trouble is I don't know what the going rate is so they don't hit the floor too badly when I tell them how much money I want to get out of bed... Argh! I want to be "reassuringly expensive"!
