Woman claims to be obese due to feacal transplant

Is this hypothesis possible or may it be that the patient was feeling better resulting in better nutrition and therefore weight gain (which although seen as a bad thing, can be positive in cases of continued malnutrition).

Link seems to have had its colon removed.

The transplant was from her daughter, who was overweight. So probably a genetic factor in being overweight.
