Tried Cimzia and no results. I am trying Remicade tomorrow. Does the amount of benedryl they give you enough to make you sleep? Or just for the reaction? Just want to prepare myself. 2

No I made it unclear. 20mg of prednisone for past 3 and a half years weeks attempting to taper off. Just a week ago it got much worse for me and I am now on 40mg. Starting mesalamine enemas now and Remicade next week. 2

So I have had UC for over a year now. At this point I am pretty blessed to be pain free, but right now I am at my worst thus far with blood. But how much is too much? When should I be worried? It's scarey for me just because I don't yet know what to expect from this disease. 2

It did. What was strange is I have been on a long term flare and today, after taking my first Cimzia last night only went to the bathroom once in the morning. Might be a coincidence but I hope not! Haha 2
