    Thanks. I'll ask. I was never told which area of the colon the ulcerative colitis is. I don't think they ever took a biopsy of my stomach. As for Japan, the flare-up was actually after. Of the two times I've been to Japan I have felt much better there--even gained weight--than I ever do here...
