    Lucy having some issues.

Thanks all - we met the GI last Tuesday and as I suspected not overly happy with her. She had also lost more weight while on the EEN as I had suspected. He also felt there were minor changes in her bum (Lucy's initial presentation was severe perianal disease) so that is a red flag. Re did...

    Lucy having some issues.

Hi everybody I know I havn't been on in a good while and I suppose like many when things are good, you forget that Crohns disease is in your life and you get lulled into a false sense of security and then the rug is pulled from underneath and all hell breaks loose with this insidious disease...

    No sting/burn Humira!

It is fantastic - Lucy is using it for about 8 /9 months at this stage and she says it is so much better. Word of warning though in Ireland it only comes in the pre-filled syringe so when she was on the lower dose and we had to draw it up ourselves it was still the old stuff. Mad really when...

    Second opinion?

I would get a second opinion as it will give you some peace of mind and help you with your decision and you will know you have done your best to the get treatment plan for your child. I would absolutely echo what everybody else has said about biologics - they are very scary drugs on paper and...
