Where we are now and how freaked I am

Mlp, your exactly right! I've been told they (Mayo GI, past and currant Gi) believe its a subtype for Crohn's. That's why the microscopic/intermediate ibd dx. However, you try to explain to a new doc the in-between dx.:ack: Carol, I heard from one Gi with eds knowledge say they are trying...

Where we are now and how freaked I am

I hate crohns, I hate jia but I hate eds even more. Grace's GI is basically doing the same. Questioning ibd dx because it's not clear cut ibd. But she agrees it is.:yfaint: Matter of fact she told us we can wait a year to meet with her, since she's doing well. Which is great...

Another year older and a new Dx.

They are new for Grace. Those are two issues that never seemed to bother her till now. She's on no new food but that doesn't mean she can't be getting a new sensitive to one.

See, this is why I ask. Apparently I can't think straight or use common sense when it's my own kid. LOL

Thanks Carol, So here's a question I don't want to ask but...... For two weeks or so (before the change to mtx) Grace had been burping and passing gas a lot. A couple mentions of stomach pain but not constant. Would this make any of you concerned?

    Severe Anemia with Crohn's

Has the GI talked about scoping again or using an mri to find the cause? In Grace's GI clinic is common to get scoped after a year. That way they can see how the treatment plan is working. Grace had remicade every 4 weeks.

Toddler with Crohn’s disease! Desperate mom!!!

Hi and a warm welcome. Yes, the young ones group is a small one. Sadly it's getting bigger each year. A little about my girl. Grace diagnosed at 3 but had symptoms long before that. Her road was a long one. Remember, each child is so different. One can have mild disease and the next...

    H's Brother

Second what mlp said about the 3 day rule on miralax. Grace was up to 3 adult doses a day. Ya, that was fun trying to get a young Grace to drink. Lol Also push water big time. Since miralax pulls water from the body it can actually cause constipation and dehydration.

    NG tube assistance

Sorry late again! I second the coolest mom ever! I don't know if I could even stomach it. Grace had her ng tube for 6 months but it started messing with her sinuses. And seeing as it would be a long term issue we went with a g-tube. Best decision ever. Now, 5 years later, we're so glad we...

    Young Pilgrim's Headaches

Not sure. Grace has a lot more than ibd going on and she doesnt shows it in labs, so i can only guess at this point. I'm taking her back to an allergist to make double sure it's not her sinuses. :ybatty: I've had two docs look and both say she's clear. But her headaches are above the eyes...

    H's Brother

I never wanted to homeschool. But now I love it. Of course, she was taught up thru 2nd grade. So the foundation was laid. It makes it a lot easier for me. It does ease my mind to know that I can work with Grace's health issues and tailor her classes to her. Plus, on a side note, not that...

Lol, I'm starting to think the world of remission is just a mythical land she'll never reach. No not in remission yet. But is doing better jia wise. Her ibd is still well controlled. No mention of ivig.

Another year older and a new Dx.

Grace will be switching from Imuran back to mtx. Her rheumatologist is wondering if Imuran is causing some of her issues like head aches, low immune system and fatigue. My question is....... Can meds start having side effects after years of being on them? She'll be seeing a neurologist...
