    Need Advices and helps

Hi and welcome. My daughter's GI put her on Remicade and Imran. Drugs like Imran, mtx plus more in this group help to stop the build up of antibodies to drugs like humira and Remicade. At least this is why her doc wants her on both.

    Methotrexate for Children

Hi and welcome. My girl was dx at 3 but is 8 now. She did well on mtx with no side effects. However, she still needed something more. Remicade was added with good results (not perfect but good). She did in mtx injections. The needle is so tiny, she handled it like a pro. I'm glad her doc...

Tips on coercing teen to try ENT

I hope it all goes well. Grace has had her feeding tube (n-gtube and than g-tube) for 5 years plus. It's been a life saver. She still drinks it orally but the tube comes in handy when she can't or is sick.

    LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) Club

Wow, it's been so long since LDN days. It didn't work for my Grace. Matter of fact while on it she got more autoimmune issues. Perhaps just a coincidence but it still makes me wonder.

Another year older and a new Dx.

Interesting, I guess our rheumatologist feels different. :yfaint: Just repeating what I was told by a doctor. Grace's xrays and one mri's did show swelling in the center of the joints. I forget the name. The doctor can feel it, even though I can't see it. Multiple joints have been this way...

Another year older and a new Dx.

Grace pain doc is a leading expert in EDS. Which is cool because we didn't even know that when she started seeing him. He works closely with her rheumatologist to make sure everything is done well. Grace has been in twice-weekly therapies for years now and works with a therapist that works...

Grace has enthesitis related JIA. :( I meet with the rheumatologist next month. And also the gi. I'm assuming the gi will run an FC stool test if the pred doesn't bring this flare under control. I've told the rheumatologist I wanted to hold of on the every 2 weeks until the pred has time to...

Another year older and a new Dx.

She's on 10mg/kg of Remicade, Maya. Insurance fought because they said 10mg every four weeks was high. I don't think upping will happen. The Rheumatologist said she will get a split dose every two weeks. (5mg every time). No he hasn't tested her levels. I didn't ask why. Maybe because...

Has anyone here received Remicade every 2 weeks? Did it work? We're you able to stretch it back out? Grace's infusion is only lasting about two weeks (3 months in a row) She's also in a jia and possible ibd flare. Her rheumatologist put her on a pred burst for 14 days at 30ml.
