    Not entirely sure, I didn't have the MRI that found the fistula till last Tuesday. I believe there's a 50% chance that a healing abscess turns into a fistula. I think you might have a fistula cuz it is recurring for you. When it heals over, the pus comes from the fistula and can't come out cuz...

    My own abscess that developed in early June would drain on its own after a bowel movement, reform 2-3 days later and drain again 1-2 days later. This happened 4 times before k went to a surgeon and had it surgically drained. Currently have a fistula now

    So I ended up drinking miralax and had 2 bouts of diahhrea >.< but it's gotten soft today although lower left side of my stomach feels a little bloated and fistula is itching. And I haven't talked to my gi about cuz the office was closed when I was panicking and today as well >.<

    Ohhh I'll try that out and Ahhh my stool seems a bit hard as well :/ I normally use mirilax when this happens but I doubt that's safe so soon after the bowel prep and colonoscopy >.<

    I did sleep well :) I've had 2 bowel movements so far and and there was some minor pain in the anus region with those, and stomach discomfort is still there. Aside from that, I'm okay
