Is it worth getting rescoped and MRI?

    Entocort Losing Effectiveness

So after starting uceris, I feel like symptoms are improving. Does this mean that the crohn's has progressed from the ileocecal area to the colon?

Stelara every 12 weeks in the UK, not frequent enough?

Yup. It seems like every 4 weeks is becoming the standard. 8 weeks is too far out.

Crohn's Flare with Normal Inflammatory Markers?

Just started my generic uceris today. I am praying this will work. I have a strong feeling this was incited by antibiotics that I took the month prior, but who knows. It's just weird that the entocort used to work so well before and now it has lost its effectiveness.

    Antibiotics and Crohn's Flare

In hindsight, I wish I did Crohn's research. Seems pretty fascinating, especially having the disease.

Very interesting. Are you a Crohn's researcher?. As a researcher myself I definitely sense that. :)

Crohn's Flare with Normal Inflammatory Markers?

Hmm. Interesting. Well if it's ileocecal I wonder why entocort is not working. Before it used to work like magic.

    Antibiotics and Crohn's Flare

Thank you for your reply. So is this a permanent change? Does this type of flare need to be treated differently? It's hard to differentiate cause and effect. Previously when I used this antibiotic I did not experience this. Hard to completely avoid antibiotics especially given that we are...

    Antibiotics and Crohn's Flare

It seems I am in the middle of a crohn's flare. I believe I started having symptoms a few weeks after using augmentin for a sinus infection. Is this just a coincidence or is that typically seen a few weeks after?

    Stelara self-injection

Nice. Glad it is working for you all. I also sometimes notice the drop, but that is fine. I've been on it for 2 years with mostly remission; however, recently I have had a flare, although different and milder symptoms than I had before.

Crohn's Flare with Normal Inflammatory Markers?

Hi All, I have ileocecal Crohn's disease. REcently I have had what seems like a flare with increased urgency and mucous stools. However, my blood tests and calprotectin are normal, no signs of inflammation. What do you think of this? CAn the inflammatory markers be normal if it is just rectal...

    Stelara

It's definitely not a severe flare, as I don't have much stomach pain. But the stool looks like sand. Weird thing is that all my inflammatory markers came back normal, normal ESR, CRP, and Calprotectin.

    Stelara

I'm wondering whether my flare is now in the distal colon rather the ileocecal area. Doctor said to continue trying entocort, but symptoms are not improving. The stool looks mucusy and like sand, not formed. Also, urgency and even leakage after bowel movements.

    Stelara

Well, the reason I started with budesonide is because it was SUPER effective before and has less side effects.

Yes, I am actively addressing it with GI. Just wanted to see your opinions etc.

    KBMO Diagnostic Test- Food Sensitivities

Has Anyone heard of the KBMO FIT test, which tests over 100 different types of food sensitivities? Do you think it's worth doing the blood test?

    Stelara

Well, the doctor recommended that I try to space it out to q6 since my inflammation was so well controlled. I also took some antibiotics a few months ago for a sinus infection...maybe that also had something to do with this? not sure. Yes, I switched back to q4 weeks stelara now. Hopefully it...

    Entocort Losing Effectiveness

I was previously just on stelara, no budesonide. Now I added back budesonide due to the apparent flare. Previously I was on on q4 stelara and then I tried spacing it out to q6/7.
