transverse colon Has anyone got crohns in the transverse colon? I had an appt with a gi and he thinks this is where the problem is as this area is where I get the pain, can it be diagnosed with a colonoscopy? I'm not sure if it can reach up that far? And what were/are your symptoms pain wise...

Hiya thanks for your reply, useful info, well I was diagnosed with 'inflammation' over 10 years ago an they said it was mild, but wasn't sure what was causing it so they just said it must mean gastritis, but I am on the meds (double dose) for gastritis, and still 'flaring' every now and then...

I think they gave it to me as its a pure pain killer and obviously ibupprofen is a no no, so obviously it was something that wouldn't do any more damage to the stomach ... Yeh it is from the movie lol, a lot of people haven't even heard of it!!

Undiagnosed at moment but suspected duodenal crohns. I get nearly everything you just said, main main symptom is PAIN, upper mid abdominal pain and when D starts lower abdo pains. Sometimes its bearable other times I'm crawling round on my hands and knees. X
