    Pain in tailbone area

What a coincidence I should read this. My daughter with crohns has had the same problem for the last three weeks. Her pain is only when she stands up from sitting on chairs, mainly the hard seats at school. Once she is standing the pain dissapears. Also happens if she moves around in her seat...

    Recently diagnosed with Crohn's

The consultant prescribed Vitamn D and Folic acid but that was only because her levels were low on those, she has been on and off those vitamins throughout the 3 years. Finding a treatment that works is what kicks growth back into place. Hope this next treatment will help your sons growth.

Sorry to hear the humira didn't work for your son. What works for others may not work for some. Humira is the only treatment my daughter has been on for over 3 years and it has kept her in remission for that long. Hopefully this next treatment will be the wonder drug for your son. Wishing...

It is really good that you are having scopes. All can look quite normal with scopes but the biopsies can tell a different story. Let us know how you get on.

Yes definitely biopsies are what gives a definite diagnosis. Being on steroids won't make any difference to the biopsy. Really hope you can get some answers.

I am guessing when you have the lower and upper scopes that you will have a biopsy too! It will be the biopsy that will give the diagnosis. So frustrating when doctors put stomach pain down to aniexty.

My daughter age 15 is also on fortnightly humira, no other medication. She has been on humira from diagnosis. Her calprotectin has always been 30. In the three years of being in remission she has grown over 4 inches and has doubled in weight. This didn't happen over night it was quite a...

    Treatment not working???

Wishing your son all the best with humira. It has been a life changer for my daughter right from the first treatment, the difference after the first couple of injections was very effective. Humira put her in remission and has kept her that way for over three years.
