help to find good chrons doctor in denver area...

I googled and saw there were support groups for IBD. That may be a way to talk with people and get a recommendation. See here. My google search for IBD center and Colorado yielded this. (There may be other IBD centers in Colorado but the one in Aurora is the one that I saw.) They look...

    Imuran...Black moles

I’m really sorry you are dealing with this. It sounds like you should see a dermatologist. Hopefully the dots are non cancerous and nothing to worry about, but only a dermatologist can know for sure and if (God forbid) they turn out to be something serious, you can deal with it earlier rather...

    Possible pill cam complications?

I would not take no response to mean the doctor isn’t worried. The doctor may not have received your message. From what I can see, stuck pull cams cause abdominal pain, bloating and nausea or vomiting. I would recontact your doctor if pain persists.

    chronic diarrhea for years

I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with this for so long. “is it possible to have crohns and it not be in colon ?” Yes, some people only have Crohns issues in the small intestine; I believe ileitis is most common. Unfortunately, many people do go undiagnosed for years. The fact that you didn’t...

    Heard from Doc today

And the fainting. I know it's sometimes a hard call to know when to tell the doctor something's going on. I think it's best to keep the doctor/team informed. It helps them get a truer picture of what's going on. It sounds like you and she are used to the fainting but fainting is not nothing...

    Heard from Doc today

What did her doctor say about fainting? Is her ileostomy output quite high? Is she losing much fluid per rectum? Did her doc/team recommend an oral rehydration solution or some fluid with electrolytes? Did her current doc or old doc say how long to expect BMs the old-fashioned way? I hope not...

So she will be getting Upa by the end of the week but does she need to wait a certain amount of time after surgery or vaccines to start taking it?

    Need a little advice

I am sorry you are dealing with this. I googled and found that i4 seems to be a Rutgeert score. “ Rutgeerts score is used as the standard evaluation of post-surgical recurrences at ileocolic anastomosis level, and should only be used for this purpose.” I read that “i4= Diffuse inflammation...

I am not sure what you meant by “All her numbers took a quite a hit with the surgery. H&H, CRP, albumin etc. I am hoping they come up a bit before they let her go.” Exc for bleeding, transfusion or hemolysis (destruction of red blood cells), any rapid changes in H/H numbers are related to...

They are the experts and this is the plan they came up with so one would hope that they have thought it all out. In any case, this is the time to ask all of your questions. (((Hugs)))

Popsicles? I definitely would ask about the med in an ileostomy tomorrow cause if it can’t be given then what is the plan? Would she only be to Upa? "the TI remains good and the colon and rectum heal, reconnect the TI to colon and maintain normal continuity. The only risk is Crohn's likes to...

What a rollercoster! Was Upadacitinib approved for Crohn's? I see nothing on Abbvie's website or in the news. The only recent approval I saw was the approval for UC last month. Could it be that her doctor is in the know and heard it's going to be approved or was approved but not yet...

    The Flu and Humira

Did you start taking an antiviral ( tamiflu) for the flu? There are 4 antivirals for the flu. They work best if given within 48 hours of first symptoms and can decrease severity and length of symptoms. See info here https://www.cdc.gov/flu/treatment/whatyoushould.htm#when-taken I do not have...

Leg Edema due to Low Albumin

If you have edema due to low protein, it shows up in the feet and lower legs when standing but is distributed elsewhere when lying down. Does your face look swollen when you wake up and better/less swollen after you’ve been up walking around for a while? That would be consistent with edema due...
