    Crohns flare up

    Hi I recently introduced myself on this site, and said that I was having a flare-up and GP had changed tablets and put me on 2 week of steriods. I have now seen my consultant, who has put me back on Pentasa (sachet) and 3 months of steriods. Flare up is now subsiding. Will go to GP next week...

    Hi, I have now seen consultant, who has put me back on Pentasa, and on 7 week course of steriods. Worryingly whilst examining my stomach, he found a lump, told me not to worry as I was health, but will send me for a CT scan to check it out. Hope that this is nothing, is any one aware of lumps...

    Thanks everyone for your response. I am due to see my consultant next Friday and will ask a lot more questions and hopefully he will provide me with a better treatment than GP. Thanks for all your advise and a actually feel better about things from reading the treads on here. Joanne

    Hi, I don't know any of the doctors at Cambridge, but I do see Dr Nair at City Hospital in Peterborough, he was the doctor that initially diagnosed Crohns for me and he was very nice and answered a number of questions for me.
