Anyone else here with a deficiency in TPMT and on a low dose of 6MP? I've started on 25mg and I'm tolerating it well, wondering if it will be increased or not.

I'm gonna put bets on it being the aza. Doubt it's Crohn's related, especially with him being on pred at the moment. Did he have his TPMT levels checked beforehand? If not, he may not be able to tolerate purines such as aza and 6MP at higher doses.

Just read that those with type A blood are susceptible to disease and also have a sensitive immune system. That would explain a lot...
