Never had either expereince with me. I'd advise just to call your doctor and find out for sure if this Remicade related. Hope he's okay and it keeps working great for him.

I agree with the both of you. There has to be links to cleanliness and the over protective measures countries like canada, the us, britian.... take to prevent illness. Howecer I very much agree with starrgirl that we have no way of knowing how many cases of crohns there were even 100 years ago...

Yeah I give them a call. Steroids arent always the answer either though so keep that in mind. What other drugs are you on or is it just steroids?

I get calls back same day. No matter where my doc is. Shes called me on vacation from san fran once (im in vancouver). As far as Im concerned anything more than 24 hours is unacceptable.

I agree with what rebecca said way up there in that it all depends where the disease is. In april (2010) I lost about 15 to 20 lbs in 2 weeks and that was a combo of not eating and diarrhea when I did. Ive gained that weight back now since october and remicade and actually up 4 pounds. Im 5'10...

Hahaha liquid gold is right creepy. Welcome to the forums and I too am on infliximab which is also known as remicade. Working wonders for crohns symptoms now jist figuring out if back pain is related.
