Marijuana interaction with Humira,Pentasa,Imuran Combo ?

watch Rick Simpson do it, except use high proof ethyl instead of methyl. what is the highest proof that you can get where you live? i can only get 80 proof in ontario, i have to go to quebec to get the right stuff. the Jamaicans use their 151 rum. if you do it right, you can reclaim the ethyl...

Marijuana interaction with Humira,Pentasa,Imuran Combo ?

Slim chance but it is a big world, lots of possibilities. Glad that i can share my experiences with everyone and this forum is made available to us CD sufferers. Just the mix itself of humira/imuran/pentasa is not that common. You must be on a drug plan, as the insurance companies are as lame as...

What is most important in cannabis for crohn's? THC or CBD?

The auto flower ones are by default higher in CBD as they are basically derived from the ruderalis stain. Good luck with your testing :-) from wiki C. ruderalis is traditionally used in Russian and Mongolian folk medicine, especially for uses in treating depression.[5] It is not advised to use...

Marijuana interaction with Humira,Pentasa,Imuran Combo ?

I have not taken Humira or Remicade (yet) but I have taken pentasa for many years, not any more as i was told by my new GI, it is a waste of time for me. I am currently using methotrexate(mtx) injections which seems to be working, but after about a year, I am starting to get pains in my ileum...

What is most important in cannabis for crohn's? THC or CBD?

If you go to the THSeeds web site you will see that they are advertising SAGE CBD and La SAGE CBD as the ones that have the 1:1 ratio of CBD/THC not Chocalate Chunk which they say is 100% Indica derived from Kush heritage I have tried Pineapple Chunk from barneys farm, it is a good one. Enjoy

    Upset

For one thing, the camera does not see your whole GI tract, actually a very small part of it. IBS covers a lot of ground, affecting people in may ways. Somethings they can figure out, some things they can not, some times it is a quick diagnoses, sometimes it takes a while.

    Just venting...

I'd go this route, look online to see if there are any recommendations and feedback for local GI's. You do not always have to have/take your GP recommendation. Many times I have gone into my GP and said I want to be referred to a particular Dr. At times I have phoned the specialists office...

Zika Virus - Weakened immune system

Ask your GI! that is why they are there to answer these questions. I think the media blows news out of proportion, to scare people like you = fear mongers. Bring your DEET, wonder if DEET is worse for you than Zika virus.

    Upset

My current GI puts me right out when I get a scope. I am fine afterwards, a little doped up, trapped air bloating, but no pain. They won't let me drive home, but I did once when my spouse was too scared to drive the hwy. My first scopes done 20+ years ago, I was awake on Demerol but these days I...

My Experience with Methotrexate & Pentasa

Hi, i am better now in the lung infection dept, but i know my cd is acting up, I can feel it in the illium, dull pain, odd throb, diarrhea again. no piercing pain. i am guessing the gi says to go back up to a 1cc weekly injection again and another scope, i am losing count of them. my blood...

    1st time

for what it is worth, try cholestyramine. I am on Olestyr, orange flavoured, light powder that I mix with a bit of water, stir it up good, then add some OJ, to make it more palatable. one package a day, works miracles for me. wish I was on this stuff years ago. after two terminal ileum...

    Just Got told

welcome as well. yup, reading up here is way better than google. lots of history/experiences, wish this forum was around when i was diagnosed 20 odd years ago. I bought a book on cd and uc to understand more and what the treatments were, some were scary to say the least. you are better off being...

    Refreshing drinks

mushy food worked for me when I was sick. salads were the worst thing to digest, that and stay away from greasy foods, so boil your veg, it breaks them down for you to digest easier. yes a baby food diet, devon custard, nutrition shakes, beat the food down so it is easier to digests. play with...

My Experience with Methotrexate & Pentasa

hi everyone, hope your doin okay. good to hear m86 is doing injection. I prefer my chunk of flesh in my upper thigh. seems to make a good pin cushion :-) i'll see if I can remember to ask my GI about your hyperbolic chamber treatment, when I see him next week. just to see the look on his face...

My Experience with Methotrexate & Pentasa

It is going to take a while to see what the full effects of mtx will be, hang in there. make sure you keep an eye on the side effects. bit alarming, but per the course, my new GI says Pentasa is a waste of time/money, I tend to agree. if you are paying out of pocket, for pentasa, makes you...

    Adding mtx to the mix?

I think it is routine to use mtx pills when on remicade, something? to do with your body producing antibodies to fight the remicade. Your GI should have told you/son this information, like mine had done when he was contemplating putting me on remicade. I have been on mtx injection once a week...

My Experience with Methotrexate & Pentasa

Hi m86, I hope mtx works out for you. I seem to be doing okay on it. Who gave you the injection? I was told and do take it at night before bed, Sunday night, that way the nausea is supposed to happen when you sleep. I have never taken it through the day, so do not know how I would feel. iirc...

My Experience with Methotrexate & Pentasa

I ate 1000's of Pentasa, over the years, they did not stop me from getting a fistula into my bladder= resection. 2 years ago another resection due to blockage. Current GI says Pentasa is not effective, now on mtx for a year now. Seems to be working, nausea all the time however, esp 2nd,3rd day...

    Injection site reaction

Now that i remember, the instructs from shoppers drug mart showed to insert the needle on an angle or straight in. I was told by the nurse not to do it on the angle and I agree it is more painful. I or my wife, alternate from one thigh to the other. Sanitize, pinch, not too hard and needle...
