New public gut bacteria study expected to reach around world

I asked for (and got this) for one of my xmas presents  I know I'm a giant nerd for wanting a stool analysis kit but it's interesting to me and it's for a neat project. It hasn't come in the mail yet. I'll update when it does to share what kind of stuff they are sending.

Is LDN working as well as I hope

Hmmm.... no pain and solid bm's sound great to me... maybe he just really had to go? Sometimes when you gotta go you gotta go! I hope all is well!

What makes someone a good candidate for LDN?

Yeah... it takes a while for the LDN to kick in and Pentasa is like an immediate topical anti-inflammatory. Would be good to have it when you are finished with a round of steroids and use while the LDN takes its time to kick in. It's a safety net pretty much.

Rick Simpson - Marine phytoplankton and hemp

I've recently started taking astaxanthin (which is produced by microalgae like marine phytoplankton). I just added it to the rest of my regimen and take it in the mornings. I've never used cannabis oil but I do have experience with living with a buildup of cbd's and thc in my system and whenever...

What makes someone a good candidate for LDN?

You're welcome! I guess it would really depend on where your Crohn's is if you needed to be on Pentasa or not. Mine is in a little spot at the TI and I use it to keep the inflammation down there. My thinking is that if you can get the inflammation down with a short course of steroids...

What makes someone a good candidate for LDN?

Good luck with your scope! Hopefully you aren't too bad off because it takes a while for the LDN to work. If you could knock out any existing inflammation with short course of steroids and maintain with Pentasa I think that would be optimal. Untreated Crohn's is sort of like playing with fire...

What makes someone a good candidate for LDN?

I don't know the answer to this question and I'm not sure if there is one. I think it is a relatively harmless drug compared to 99% of Crohn's medications so anyone is a good candidate for it. I started it because I felt that biologics would be like throwing napalm at an ant hill (for me) and I...

OK, so, getting to the end of our rope, perspective needed.

I'd just like to chime in and say that I was severely depressed pre-LDN and it jerked me right out of that. While I'm not as super duper happy as I was the first few weeks on LDN, the energy it has given me has made me feel better.

By the way, is your picture of Manhattanhenge?

Bringing up LDN therapy to my GI for the first time.

Hey there... I recommend printing out this study to give your doctor. I didn't have luck getting my GI on board with LDN so I got mine from a DO that is known to prescribe it... so I don't have any advice on increasing your chances of getting it from your GI. You could say that it has very...

    My Quest for LDN

Just a quick update. I'm still feeling fine... more energy than I had pre-LDN. The insane, shoot off into space energy is gone though. For a while, I thought it was because maybe I had a candida problem or maybe the LDN stopped working, but now I think I just got used to the high energy feeling...

    Peanut Butter?

I eat peanut butter almost every day. I have no issues with it. I don't think there is any rule that says all Crohnies need to stay away from fiber. Everyones disease is different. If I didn't have any fiber, I would never poop. :poop:

    Best strain for Crohns Colitis??

I don't have much of a selection because I don't live in a MM state but I got some Luca Brasi from Colorado a few months ago and it is really nice. I look forward to when I can use it regularly.

Enriched All Purpose Flour what's more Crohn's-friendly bleached or unbleached

Peanut flour is good and full of protein. I use it when I make banana bread. If your friend has peanut allergies then you could try using almond flour.

    Starting LDN!

I've read where people on LDN that consume alcohol projectile vomit and I've also read that some have no problems at all. You'll have to be your own test monkey!

Humira not covered by United Healthcare?

There is a clinical trial going on right now for Stelara and Crohn's. I don't know about Simponi.

I'm Afraid My Husband Will Divorce Me Due To MM Use

With it being illegal, you are looking at a lot of WHAT IFs. I've been using cannabis to self-medicate for over 10 years and never have I once been fired from a job because of it or have ever been in trouble with the law for using it. Does your wife have a job that does random drug testing? If...
