How long after eating a trigger food do you notice symptoms?

Please don't go too long without meds if your symptoms are worsening. Did you do much research on diet before going off? From what I've read here in the past months, diet is entirely personal there's unfortunately no safe list.

How long is too long to wait for Humira to kick in?

I moved cross country with two dogs, husband and three kids about two weeks after I started Humira. June & July were miserable but I saw sudden improvement right at three months with 40mg/two weeks.

    Overweight with Crohn's Support Group

I will say my attitude towards my body totally changed when I was diagnosed & started reading threads here about people struggling to keep weight on. While I was so sick, I was relieved I didn't have that to worry about on top of or.

V scared - Postive Humira Stories???

Humira isn't that scary. Really. The benefits far, far outweigh the risks. Untreated, uncontrolled Crohns is much worse than the slight risk of side effects from this drug.

I have Crohn's 14yo son has odd bowel habits

Does he have a phone or device you could use an app to track his habits? So he's not having to talk poop with you, just storing the info in his phone? I'd let the new doc know ahead of time so he can ask doc to pt questions without your prompting at the time.

Can Cipro Alone Help With A Flareup?

I thought my first flare was a UTI. A ten-day course of Cipro held off the worst of my symptoms.

Active Crohn's Disease with no clear symptoms

I had simmering inflammation and fatigue for months without GI symptoms before ending up with perforation and abscesses. Crohn's can be sneaky, don't trust it!

    Starting with a biologic?

I was scared at first too but quickly agreed with a top-down approach when I learned how awful uncontrolled Crohn's is. I had to take a practical approach to weighing my options & am so glad I did! I've been on Humira for almost three months and am feeling so much better.

    Humira Club Support Group

Who all is one weekly Humira? I'm almost sure that's what my new GI is going to suggest after my 8/22 MRE which will be 3 months after starting Humira. I hope she gives it another couple of months!

A thread for people for whom just walking constitutes exercise

I tried running some super-easy intervals Mon and Tues...and spent Weds on the couch so I'm a walker for a while. Sucks.
