    Hi Maya and FW, I am pretty sure it is granulated tissue. We had a local GI doc take a look and he agreed. We got some granlousos ointment that is supposed to help.

    Maya, Caitlyn is having terrible pain again since he changed the G tube out. Any suggestions for this? Is it normal to have pain with the change from one to the other.

    Welcome. I am so sorry you are going through this. It is not easy. I have 2 girls with crohn's one diagnosed at age 11 who is now 19 and one who is 8 diagnosed last year at age 7.

    I am so sorry. It is not easy. My daughter was age 11 when she was diagnosed it took her quite a while to adjust. Like some of the others said an experienced therapist makes a big difference. My daughter saw an art therapist for a year which really helped.
