Yeah i know, you feel like crap and are not grateful for anything because your life is one giat drag. … we all 'get' that. We all go through that - often. BUT When you have that feeling of gratitude and being grateful - for me, it makes my tummy feel good. As opposed to sitting here...

New to Crohn's 20 Year Old Female.

hi D, Sorry to hear you have Crohns. I am 39, got it when i was 18. Best advice is to try and enjoy your food - try not to blame the food…or yourself. Everyone with Crohns is different. You might thrive on bananas and someone else with crohns might not be able to tolerate them. You might thrive...

    How long on Entocort

you might think you are dependent on the budesonide or as they call in australia 'entocort'……..but you might not be. That is how it turned out for me. It is addictive, your body needs it and when you cease it, your body freaks out…….if you stopped taking it suddenly, just ceased it - you would...

Doctor diagnosed Crohn's patient as 'homosexual'

same happened to me in 1994, when i was diagnosed. the doctor threw his hands in the air and said (i will never forget it) 'your son is either a drug addict, has mental problems or is gay'. Brisbane, Australia. My dad was clever enough to tell the GP to get knicked. We went to a gastro the...

Who to talk to about Crohns?

i agree - this forum is great. I am from Australia and was stoked when i found it and could relate to others. In real life, having someone to email, phone or actually (i know this sounds quite 1990s) but actually catch up with face to face and talk - means a lot to me. Then you dont have to...

Who to talk to about Crohns?

No one in your family will understand, unless they too have Crohns. Doctors try to understand, but not many people have a nice understanding doctor. You dont want to talk to your wife/husband about it, it is disgusting. You dont want to talk to your best friends, they wont understand. SO, who...
