I have failed both and Imuran I had surgery almost 5 weeks ago I had a bowel resection they took 26 inches of the small bowel!! I have had 2 flares and currently in a flare looking forward to starting Cimzia on May 7th!!! Praying that it works for me and works fast!!!!!

Its a crazy med I just got off of it I was on it for 14 months straight!!! So many side effects!! I had the surgery I'm currently in a flare and have been for a week!! it sucks good luck!!

I did I was on it for 6 months with 40 mg of Predisone a taper but could not get off the predisone!!!!!! So started Remicad and methotrax had 2 infusions and had a allergic reaction I have tries everything nothing is helping!! Will be having surgery on March 25 Right Colecotomy!!!

I'm always cold to during a flare I can always tell when I'm going to have one I have to wear socks to bed!!!!!

Good luck I will be having surgey end of March!!!! I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago so I also have scar tissue and everything is stuck!!! So we wil see I pray for no issues and speedy recovery!!!!!!!!

Thanks it's not a hemi I belive that she is taking the value because she says that you don't really need it!!!! It's just a right colectomy. But they way y explained it is just the was she did I should have taken someone to the spot to much to take it!!!! Thanks again!!!

What is the differnce between the two? My GI was sure they were going to do the resection and the surgeon decided to do the right colectomy???? I will be having it done 3/25/14 not soon enough!! Was so sick today once again had to call into work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Humira is just not working any more my dr is not sure that it was ever working becase I was always on steriods or Encort so on to remacadied!!!

I'm starting Remicade on 1/23 I'm scared because this is the last thing before surgey. Imuran did not work! On that for 4 weeks and then start Humira and on that for 6 months!!! I'm so upset I just want to start to feel normal again!!!
