I agree Mike, it's very odd to read that so many of us have family members that to suffer from the same illness. I was told by my doctor many years ago, that it wasn't. However, he never showed me anything to indicate anything other. I strongly believe...that it does.

I was also curious to hear from everyone about when your flare ups were the worst. For me, it was every summer like clock work. Usually around the same time, June..July, August, would I spend my time in hospital. My flare ups didn't seem to activate in the winter so much, as they did summer...

Believe it or not, I use...and still do to this day, those tapes or cd's of nature sounds. Maybe it was just me, but they did wonders for calming the ole tummy down, on flare up days. Give it a try, worst case scenerio...you will sleep..lol.

To write i'm a righty..to play softball, tennis, and golf, i'm a lefty...so does that make me a Cronhic Crohnie...hmm, something for me to ponder this weekend.
