Medications when TTC and during pregnancy

Hello all, I know this part of the forum is quiet but wondering if anyone has any experience of coming of methotrexate and really struggling? I am trying to come off methotrexate at the moment and I am having a tough time as I am already having symptoms after coming down from 25mg to 17.5mg. I...

Feeling tired and a bit sad

It's quiet over in TTC but I will start a thread to see if I get any replies. Unfortunatley I have tried both imuran/aza and 6mp and ended up in hospital with pancreatitis both times. I have exhausted all other medications even cimzia had to be prescribed by my rheumatologist as its not licensed...

This section so quiet! Cimzia experience would be nice

I am on cimzia after failing both humira and remicade, so far it is working well. It did take all the loading doses for it to start making a difference but for me it was worth sticking with as now I am able to have a more normal life. I still have some problems but I can deal with them as I am...

    Prednisone AGAIN!

There are definatley times when I get fed up with all the medication changes but I try to stay positive and think that it will make things better in the end. Pred is horrible but has helped me on many occasions whilst bridging the gap when things aren't going so well. I really hope they can get...

It is hard to be patient especially when you are in pain and have been for some time. I was really worried too after having it seem to work so well then nothing but it seems to be worth sticking with now :)

Does anyone have braces? Retainer? Fillings?

I had my braces about two years after my crohns diagnosis and I had them removed a couple of months ago after having them on for over 2 years and it has made zero difference to my crohn's. I now have a retainer and still haven't noticed that it has had any affect on my disease. I have had flares...

    Pens or syringes?

You can get pre-filled syringes this is what I have at the moment so its just as quick as getting the pen out of the fridge. I can understand if you can't get hole of those though and having to faff around with filling them

    Pens or syringes?

I did the humira pen and was fine with it at the time although it does sting because of the speed the medication is going in but now I am on cimzia and using syringes I find it a lot easier. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it because I could see the needle but once I realised the needle isn't...
