Question for the ladies... vaginal and anal irritation

Hiya cupcakes and welcome I've had this in the past, I know exactly what you mean by 'paper cuts!' I use Canesten, but not the one from the chemist which is over the counter for thrush. It's precribed by the doc and it's Canesten HC which contains 1% Hydrocortisone, a topical steroid. The...

    Humira Club Support Group

I'm a newbie to Humira, had my first shots 2 weeks ago. Next one is tomorrow. Can I ask, when is the best time to do the shots, morning, evening, bedtime? I'm thinking of doing it when I get home from work. Any side effects, at least I'm at home and can sleep it off? Thanks xx

    The Amitriptyline Club Support Group

Hiya I'm Joan and this Amitriptyline is the Dog's Doodah's!! At high doses (250mg) it's an anti depressant, called tri cyclic, an old one, been around for decades. Docs discovered it's uses at lower doses (10mg-25mg) as a first line defence for IBS, bed wetting and as a preventative for...

Is there someone who can finally help us?

I replied to you in the other thread about buzzy Just a long shot here, but sometimes this can be a control thing, he's not in control, so.... would he inject himself? An alternative to Infliximab is Humira, self injected using a needle or a pen. no infusions. I use a needle and it's dead easy...

    The Amitriptyline Club!

I didn't take mine last night, I thought it was too late. We went to watch Django Unchained (fab fillum) and only got home well after midnight. I tossed n turned all bloody night, woke up feeling like crap, visited the bathroom a few times, went back to sleep 10am-12.30pm, won't be doing that again!

    The Amitriptyline Club!

ha ha yes me too UnXmas I don't feel dependent on it, but just love the floaty, dreamy, sleepy, calm feeling I get at bedtime. Perhaps I am dependent on it, but I don't give a rat's arse, tbh!

    Newly Diagnosed Crohn's

Steroids should be avoided if it is Crohn's Why? Dr11 Cos of perforation and fistulas? Prednisolone saved my life nearly 3 years ago, otherwise I wouldn't be here. Tons of people on this forum have used steroids to help with inflammation, so I just don't get it! Why would our gastros prescribe...
