I have found that the antibacterial mouth rinse Chlorhexadine helps, it doesn't burn, like listerine or hydrogen peroxide. It helps decrease the bacteria which helps provide an environment more conducive to healing. Its hard for any wound to heal when it's surrounded by bacteria. Something else...
