    Toilet Seats... Preference?

That's how I feel most of the time, but when I'm sitting for 30 minutes or so, comfort become a factor for me. Could be the way im sitting, but legs fall asleep and that sucks. I wish I could always have the seat warmed. I hate when I have the go and the seat is freezing.

    Toilet Seats... Preference?

Yes, I agree, clean is the best. shazamataz - is your seat solid? If so, I'd be afraid of getting caught and being pinched. Ouch!

    Toilet Seats... Preference?

I was just wondering if you all have a favorite toilet seat. The one that's in my apartment sucks because it's too small, but I haven't changed it yet. I don't really like the padded type, because after awhile they crack. I don't know if there are different types of padded seats or just the...

Is is weird looking forward to Colonoscopy

I think I would be happy if my GI suggested another one. Just for the fact that everything could be cleared out. So no, I don't think you are weird.

    Where's yours located?

Thanks everyone. I always wondered about this. One of my biggest fears has been that it will spread throughout my whole body. I also have the huge fear that my medicine will give me colon cancer. Very afraid of that. Do you all have people off of the Internet that also have Crohn's to...

    Where's yours located?

Do you all know where you Crohn's primarily resides in your digestive system? For me, it's isolated to my rectum. Only my rectum. Which is sort of good and bad.

    Primary Care

I haven't seen my "primary care" doctor for well over a year, almost two, because I usually just go see my GI. Sometime when I bring in paperwork like FMLA to the GI, for reasons related to my crohn's, he is always like you should have your primary doctor fill that out. I'm like, I don't even...

    Anal abscess and bowel movements

Yeah I have been taking tons of baths. Since it has been a week since the surgery pain has gone down a ton, and I am getting my appetite back. The worse part of everything is trying to keep the surgical wound clean. Lot's of baths, showers, and gauze. Gauze is so freaking expensive.

Well, it happened. Yesterday actually. After having a little yogurt, my stomach made it clear what was about to happen. Let's just say it hurt. A lot. I am so glad its over.

    Anal abscess and bowel movements

I thought I had to go, but nothing came. Except for pain and a little blood. Maybe I was pushing to hard. Kello - This is my 2nd I&D. The first time, I think it took me around 5 days to have my first bm. I can understand the pain from pee, but I usually don't have to worry about it...

    Anal abscess and bowel movements

Not too late yet. It still hasn't happened. I asked the surgeon about placing the lidocaine I have on the wound and he said no. I think I will do my best to keep the gauze I have between the areas. We will see how it goes.

    Anal abscess and bowel movements

I had my second incision and drainage of an abscess yesterday. The reason I am freaking out is that I know I will have to have a bowel movement soon and I a really fearing it. I know that pain it going to be crazy. Right now I am just taking more and more Percocet and eating food. I know...

    It's been awhile.

It has been a long while since I wrote anything on the forum. A lot has happened with my Crohn's since then. Over the past year I started feeling really good and decided to not take my meds. Dumb thing to do, I know. That did not go over so well. Crohn's came back and kicked my butt...
