    Humira Fail What Next..

Hi Cheka, Thanks for sharing your experience and information. I appreciate everybody's time and willingness to share. I will share this information with my son who is a young adult navigating a difficult situation. I am happy for you to have found something that works for you, but am cautious...

    Humira Fail What Next..

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately CDED drove his calpro over 2200 so it did not help his crohns. We’ll wait & hope it clears with a little more time. Maybe it just hasn’t been long enough 🤞

    Humira Fail What Next..

Hi everybody, I've been wanting to update this but have been waiting to get the bill, and see if it works... but now 4 weeks after his first infusion of Skyrizi he has 2 areas of psoriasis showing up. He is due for his 2nd infusion tomorrow. Wondering if anybody has experience with new...

The Crohn’s Disease Exclusion Diet (CDED): A Comprehensive Review

CDED did NOT work for us. Calpro went from 500-2200 in 3 months - but interestingly it did completely clear a small patch of psoriasis that has never returned.

    Humira Fail What Next..

Thank you everybody for your input! It's not that I don't trust the doctor, but sometimes think they have a much more narrow view than people living through it. Your input & knowledge is incredibly valuable IMO. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I will update everybody but it looks like...

    Humira Fail What Next..

Hi everyone, My son (20) just had his scope yesterday and his Humira MTX combo is a fail. His doctor would like us to decide on alternative therapy within the week, and wondering if anybody has experience switching from Humira to Remicade? He has 6 months left in college and we were hoping to...

This doesn't sound like Crohn's, right...?

Have you tried eliminating dairy? It does seem odd to be situational.

This doesn't sound like Crohn's, right...?

I've wondered about this why some patients have different elevated inflammation markers - could this be why different drugs work in specific cases depending on the pathway driving inflammation? My child has zero inflammation markers in blood work only Calpro so would entyvio be a better choice...

Our Journey So Far SCD CDED Experiences

Hi @Andersen007 - Happy to hear you have had some success with diet alone. I think there are a lot of different EEN formulas available but definitely probably a trial and error period for everybody finding one that will work. Have you heard of or tried the FODMAP diet? I wonder if there could...

Our Journey So Far SCD CDED Experiences

Hello, I haven't really posted a lot of our story, but seem to continually check back here for information. Having seen a lot of questions from parents about diets I thought our experience might offer some help for others. Forgive me in advance for not knowing all of the correct abbreviations...

Regeneron While taking Humira Any information??

Thought I would update everyone here to say that our son never did get sick. So grateful for that! I did ask infectious disease & they said that there weren't any contraindications between Humira & Regeneron.

Regeneron While taking Humira Any information??

Thank you! That was the information I have been looking for. It sure seems like it could work in theory....surprised there isn't more information about the combination since it seems like Humira is a widely prescribed drug.

Regeneron While taking Humira Any information??

Thanks for that We are planning to wait and see if he even gets sick, just wanted to be able to make an informed decision if he does get sick. There is a window of 9 days from onset of symptoms, but the delay would come in scheduling so we will have to decide sooner rather than later.

Regeneron While taking Humira Any information??

I have read all of the FDA media material. I just haven't found any specific information about combining that many antibodies. It seems likely that they don't know, but maybe somebody has other data?

Regeneron While taking Humira Any information??

This is only my 2nd post and hoping somebody might know or have advice. Our son (17) started Humira back in May after a partial obstruction. He is symptom free and labs are good (they were before except for Calprotectin) Anyway... he has been exposed to Covid and is unvaccinated because we...

Newbies Seeking Advice Input & Opinions

So how does EEN work for you? Is it an 8 week course and then back to a standard diet, or are you on a restricted diet as well? I just read about the CDED exclusion diet last night with PEN and it sounds interesting as well.

Newbies Seeking Advice Input & Opinions

Hello to all Parents, I've read through several threads, but this is my first post. Our youngest son was diagnosed 11/2018. All of his bloodwork was unremarkable but his Calprotectin was 998. He had a scope and MRI done at that time and the MRI showed an area of (ileal) "narrowing" that they...
