    Hes tried azathioprine, 6mp and methotrexate all sent his liver enzymes sky high! Havnt tried remicade yet, so maybe his consultant will try that next, im worrying that it will be surgery!

    Thanks for the replies, have had a chat with my son's IBD nurse today (who's just come back from maternity leave) and she's sorting out a treatment plan with my son's consultant (who's just come back from a year's sabatical), so fingers crossed might be getting somewhere! Will definately ask...

    Hi, my son has had bowel problems for 3 years. He's had a colonoscopy and biopsies done, which came back 'normal'. He's also had an MRI, Ultrasound and Endoscopy which all came back 'normal'.     Help normal test result !!

    My son had colonscopy,small bowel barium meal, mri scan all showed nothing, but his blood tests where abnormal, the only test that diagnosed his crohns was a pill cam, would be worth trying to get a pill cam done! Good luck!

    Hi Cat, Ive been on Asacol for bout 20 years with no side effects and no flare ups for years, i used to take 6 a day but for bout 10 years im down to only 2 a day! Also love your cat! lol Sam
