I am sorry to hear you had such a bad time with it exit4. Of course you're never the exception when it comes to winning the lottery... that is called sods law! My Dr did say it would take about 4 weeks to heal so I am hoping that things will start to improve in the next few weeks. I will take...

    Pain after fistula surgery!

They gave me metronidazole and erythromycin stearate... Which have been making me very sick, but the doctor told me to stick out the full doses if I could. I have one more day left of taking them, but so far I don't seem to be feeling much better! It all seems a bit never ending sometimes!

    Pain after fistula surgery!

Thank you for your reply. It's difficult to judge if something is wrong when you don't know how much pain to expect. I will ring my surgeon first thing tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment. How long did it take you to recover?

I have been on 40mg of prednisolone daily for the last 7 months and have consequently put on a stone and a half! I seem to be fighting a losing battle with dieting and exercise! Has anyone else been successful in losing weight whilst on these steroids or is it best to wait until you are off...

Hey :-) I am taking steroids, anti inflammatory tablets (mesalazine), a medication to prevent stomach ulcers and an enema medication at night time. New to this and undiagnosed as yet!

So I found the worst bit was the prep (that stuff is horrible!) I really struggled to get up at 6am to drink another litre... Made me feel so sick! The colonoscopy itself was quite interesting, I was watching what was going on on screen. From my colonoscopy I was diagnosed with ulcerative...

Hey, thank you both for your messages :) It is really nice to know that there is this community here of people that know what you're going through! I am definitely going to have sedation as I panic quite easily anyways so it is probably for the best! My mum will definitely ask the doctor if...

New to this and undiagnosed as yet!

Hi there :) I am 22 and the Doctors suspect I have crohns. I have had tummy problems for a 2 years now and was too embarrassed to tell anyone. It was only when I got a bad bout of mouth ulcers that my mum took me to the doctors and my health has very swiftly gone downhill from there. I have...
