Yesterday I was feeling extremely sore lower rh side of my belly, the site of my stricture. Felt very low, a bit desperate tbh. Backside red raw as well.
Went to bed last night & started to feel the build up of pain that I'm so familiar with, onset of an episode of obstruction. Went downstairs took a Tramodol & also 15ml of Magnesium Hydroxide. The pain didn't get above about 8/10 & gradually died down & the Magnesium H worked its magic & got things moving again.
Never slept a wink courtesy of the Tramadol & feeling tender I rang the hospital & spoke to Specialist Nurse who advised me to go back up to 9mg of Entocort daily. I came off the phone & took them straightaway & all I can say is that within a few hours I felt better. Its as if the inflammation has been battered into submission. Plus the "high" from the Entocort has certainly bucked me up.
