This October Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is proud to introduce our first ever youth-focused webinar series. This looks to be informative to teens & university students and their parents. No matter where you live I think these will be quite informative. The topics include:
October 15th, 2014 @ 7 pm EDT
Newly Diagnosed? Let’s Talk About It! A diagnosis of Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis is difficult at any age, or stage of life, but for young adults, diagnosis can be particularly difficult. This webinar will provide youth with general information on surviving and thriving with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We’ll also provide strategies for effectively communicating with friends, family and teachers about your disease.
October 22nd, 2014 @ 7pm EDT
Moving On Up! Transitions in IBD. Hear from experts on what you need to know when transitioning from pediatric care and learn about the resources available to you at post-secondary school to maximize an easy transition from high school.
October 29th, 2014 @ 7 pm EDT
