I have a quick query after meeting with my GI this afternoon after being called into the hospital ASAP. He has started me on 6MP immediately as steroids and mesalasine ain't cutting the (mucous covered) mustard.

We discussed all sorts of concerns- however my job is a gardener and I work in pretty dirty conditions with soil, composts, manures, fertilisers, waste of all description. Will I need extra protection when working with generally microbial infested materials. Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers - K.

Myself and my partner canned a trip riding my motorcycle around Australia later this year as my health would not be up to it- so a few weeks ago we decided on spending the best part of Sept/Oct in Indonesia and Malaysia- is this viable with immune-suppresents?
Also he mentioned if all else fails it's bye bye bowel. Does anybody else ride with a bag- if so what the hell is it like? thanks again- El Dackelo.

Hi there, I'm in Taiwan with immunosuppressants. Been here for 8 months and feel fine - but I felt fine when I got here.
I have been back and forth to China from the US for 8 of my 34 years of Crohn's. Seems to make no difference to me. Good luck and best travels!
