6mp in the near future

Looks like I am going to have to start it. I was hoping that I would be I am still having issues. Remicade alone isnt doing it. I was on entocort for about 2 yrs and my Dr doesnt want me on it long term. Remicade and 6mp together scare me a bit but I guess if it will get me better than that is what I will ahve to do.

Hopefully 6MP will do the trick for you! For me, docs say the next step is entocort because 6MP is not working, but they are still hoping. It's not too bad, I've noticed some significant hair loss in the shower and a bit of thinning, but no one else has really seen the difference. Some nausea, too. I hear it does wonders for some people though, so maybe you are on the way to some good days.

I would consider 2 years on Entocort long term! Did you have side effects? I've been on it for a few months now and my dr is already taking me off it. I'm on Pentasa now because I couldn't have the right blood test for 6MP for insurance reasons. Let us know how you do on it!

Within the 2 yrs on entocort I have tried to go off many times but flare up so had to go back on. I have been on imuran in the past and had an ok time with it. I was hoping to have another baby in a few years and worry I will not be able to if the 6mp is going to be long term.
