Is this a common thing? I have acid reflux when I don't have diarreah but when I do have diarreah I DON'T have acid reflux.

Acid reflux is common. I also have it. Your GI or GP can prescribe something that will help regulate it and for the diarrhea as well.

I have awful Acid reflux (i use heartburn Acid reflux and gerd interchable though i belive there are small differences) my crohn's is under control, and it was never clear if it was related to crohn's but since it is inflammation it can be. it is useful that they are both treated by the same doc. there are many med options so if one doesn't work keep trying, and don't stop on your own, it can have a bad blow back if meds are stopped to suddenly.

I have had heartburn for years and years...finally a scope dx'd GERD a year or so ago. I was on Nexium for a long time but it stopped working so now I take Dexilant...it's magic! If I miss even one day I am in severe pain. It's interesting how it correlates to your diarrhea!
