Age spots

I started to get age spots on my face, recently, and they appeared when I began Imuran. I am rarely in the sun and use a lotion with sunscreen every day. I'm under 40 as well. I'm wondering if this could be from the stress of my disease or Imuran. Anyone else on Imuran who has experienced this problem?

Yeah I think I have those too. What do they look like?

Me too, they look like freckles, only bigger/wider. I am also under 40 (37). I am not on Imuran anymore, but they are not gone.

My fiancé just laughed at me for calling it an age spot. She called it a sun spot. I stopped Imuran a few weeks ago and did not like the side effects. I've also greeted significantly in the last year.

Thanks for responding! Some people call them sun spots, too. They are wide freckles and they don't go away unless you do something drastic like burn them off in chemical peels. I feel like a giraffe. I'm using a special lotion that's supposed to even the skin tone, but I'm afraid I'm only going to get more the longer I'm on Imuran.
