Has anyone heard of that or give an attempt to that type of nutrition?
I read about it and it makes sense. It seems to be more popular in France and is mainly suggested to people suffering from autoimmune diseases, especially rhumatisms(see Dr. Jean Seignalet/Poinsignon) but would even prevent cancer relapses. Some mds suggest it. Applying it seems to be quite a challenge though considering it is really not friendly with the actual food we can find most of the time.

The principles are simple:
1-No more dairy of any kind (cause it makes no sense to drink or eat them - we are not veal or lamb or baby goat)
2-No more gluten
3-Eat raw when you can or cook at low temperature (below 110 C). Steam is ok, avoid microwaves [High temperature alters the food and it could trigger inflammation reactions and destroy the good vitamins]
4-Eat as bio as possible (less chemicals could mean less inflammatory reaction to "anormal" content present in your body.) And avoid processed food, sugar etc, cause they are all filled with stuff we shouldn't be eating.

Brief... our food has evolved, but our body did not really follow it. They therefore suggest that we stick with what our species was eating at first and focuss on it.

Well, all that being said, has anyone tried it and if did it help?

Hello PsychoJane. What a scary name!

I eat an ancestral or paleo diet, avoiding the foods you mention - dairy and grains. For me, eating this way made a nice improvement in my gut health, along with improving other health issues.

Paleo seems to have a nice, growing following in America. I've seen it mentioned several times on blogs I visit that "paleo is hot".

To meet others, Dr. Eenfeldt has a nice collection of paleo sights listed.

And enjoy Psychiatrist Dr. Emily Deans blog about evolutionary eating and resulting improved mental health.
