Anus removed

What is the feeling of having anus removed after surgery?
My mom just had her surgery done & is feeling terrible, like mouth is being sewn up! How to make her feel better? Help please.

Just tell her it gets better and in the long run it will be one of the best decisions she's made. The persistent bleeding and pain will be gone and her life will be hers again. Short term pain for a long term gain.

I hope she makes a quick recovery. Try to keep her in a positive mood and be sure to tell the doctor if the pain is too much for her. That sounds very painful, she deserves to be treated very compassionately for pain management.
