Right to Know: Vote Yes on Prop 37

Over 80% of all GMOs grown worldwide are engineered for herbicide tolerance. As a result, use of toxic herbicides like Roundup [Ready] has increased 15 times since GMOs were introduced. GMO crops are also responsible for the emergence of “super weeds” and “super bugs” which can only be killed with even more toxic poisons like 2,4-D (a major ingredient in Agent Orange). GMOs are a direct extension of chemical agriculture, and are developed and sold by the world’s biggest chemical companies. The longer-term impacts of GMOs are unknown, and once released into the environment these novel organisms cannot be recalled.

YES ON 37!!!

Monsanto basically owns the F.D.A. so they can put whatever they want on the market and they only have to do low dose, short time studies on whatever they introduce to the market. (they feed a rat a GMO soy bean and watch it for two days... if it doesn't die it must be healthy). Also because monsanto owns the patents on these GMO's independent research cannot be done into the possible environmental and health risks posed by these GE plants under the threat of litigation.

Monsanto knows that if people became more aware of what they eat then their empire will crumble. Be part of the change!

If california were to pass this prop, then other states would follow suit!

:(, Shame on California. Right to know what's in our food initiative... California just told the world that we do not have the right to know what is in our food.

I've been unable to sleep the last couple nights because of this, how could people not want to know what their children are eating? Makes me sick.

Gianni

We really do not know for certain if it passed or not.
All the votes were not counted.

The voter tally has not been sent in for at least three precincts. It was not mandatory to do so but voluntary.

It failed on a projection of results. We may never know if it actually failed. Something smells in California.

Dan

Everything was a projection based on math, math rarely fails :(, I just think California watches too much mainstream media, and they voted with the media's best interest... not their own.
