A proposed bill currently wending its way through first reading in the Canadian House of Parliament proposes to update Consumer Product safety (some say it's been overdue for 40-50 years), especially in the area of therapeutic products.
Many critics fear this is targeting herbal remedies and other supplements, while supporters claim it's merely to tighten rules regarding unsafe products, labelling, or products making unsubstantiated medicall claims.
Just wondering what fellow Canadians (or I guess Australians too, since similar legislation is supposedly set for their country).
