Anyone have breast implants and Crohn's?

I have breast implants and just wondering if there are others on here. If so, any problems or issues you feel affect CD? I've had them awhile and as I don't think they affect the disease, I guess you just never know. Any other experiences would be nice to hear

I read a post on here quite a long time ago about a woman who had them, and her body rejected them because of her Crohn's. She had to have them removed.

I had a consult a few years ago regarding implants. He flat out refused to do them because of the Crohn's. His reasoning was very sound, so I just went on a really nice cruise instead!
I am glad you are not having a problem with them though!

Nope, my ****s are pretty big, but they are just made out of plain old fat! I'm glad yours aren't causing you any problems. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have breast implants and I have no issue with them or my body rejecting them. I have no side effects either. Then again I wasn't diagnosed with Crohns until about 3 years after I got them, even though I'm 100% positive I had Crohns when they were put in but just wasn't diagnosed.

I have implants as well (saliene). My surgeon had no problem with the procedure and my Crohn's Disease. I have had them since 2004 and so far so good. Hope all is well and remains well
