Are Crohnies gluten intolerant?

I ask because I only eat a few things and each time I eat noodle soup, bread or anything with gluten in it, I get sick. Mildness vs severity really has a mind of its own.

Ugh. I shouldn't have eaten it again. I'm just SO hungry and I love soup and I thought today would be different :( Who am I kidding!?

Some are and some aren't. I was tested when I was first diagnosed and I am not gluten intolerant or lactose intolerant. You may want to get tested to be sure, it is a blood test.

I did the Celiac's test once but my doctor and I realized that it was a false negative because I wasn't consuming any gluten lol But when she ordered new labs, I lost my job.

Is there a blood test for milk intolerance? I also can not have any dairy, barely. That started 2 years ago.

My celiac test was negative. I drink fat free milk and it doesn't bother me, but cheese seems to upset my stomach. I'm sorry you lost your job. I have had to take a little extra time off these past couple of weeks and I worry about my job. Hope you find your answers.

The lactose test is actually not a blood test. You drink something and they monitor your breath every half hour for a few hours afterwards as it digests and that tells them if you are lactose intolerant or not. It took a full morning if I recall. My doctor says it is not 100% accurate. I am okay with cheese, small amounts of milk and other dairy, but if I drink a full glass of milk, it upsets my stomach. Sorry to hear about your job.
