Bag Covers

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

thanks for posting, I don't have one but a relation of mine ended up having one fitted as an emergency last week following surgery for something else. She's been told it's permanent and is having trouble coming to terms with it just yet although it saved her life. I shall try and get her one of these :)

That sucks Archie, waking up with a stoma must be the crappest thing ever, especially when you werent prepared. I'm currently preparing myself mentally for possibly having a temporary one, and I reckon as a single 20something girl I'd rather look down at something like those bags (leopard print and lacey black, you could match with your underwear!) than some medical appliance. Hope your relation gets well soon

I recently got an ileostomy. It's only temporary...three months, but my mom has been great with trying to help me deal with it.

She bought me a band to wear around my waist to keep the bag flat, so I can still wear my pretty dresses and such.

And she just bought me a set of sassy printed pouch covers from CS pouch covers.

They are really cute and I'm actually kind of excited to get them and see how they look. I read they are great for cutting down the crinkle-plastic noise, plus they cover up the uggo bag!

So I say go for it. If you've gotta have the pouch, might as well be stylin'

Archie, you should have her come on here and see what we're about. Maybe we could help?

As for bag covers, I'd love to try one. Not that I need it for the time being. Ollie would probably punch anyone who comes near me, not that anyone would! (and no...ollie isnt a dog or a person, read my sig line)
