Been Busy

I've been busy lately with work and trying to begin an active social life after more than 10 years without one....I took time to be a single parent to my son, I felt if I was to bring a child into this world it was my main job to bring him up right. So I focused on him and homelife and work. Now I have a wonderful 20 year old son I have a great relationship with, he works full time, we live together and share expenses, he takes classes and community college and is doing better at 20 than I did at 30!

I also went for so long without a man in my life because of my crohns. I figured who would want to be with me, crappin' all the time, gross! With the Remicade and really watching my diet and stress I've been feeling good most of the time.

So I've taken steps to try and find a mate, and so far so good, i've been talking to 2 main guys now and things are progressing well with one and it looks like the other may be just a good friend.

I see there are a few new people here and I really wanted to say "HELLO", feel free to send me a message or IM, I pick up messages throught the day while at work(don't tell my boss.lol) Also, I put pictures in my Zoints..take a look!

Know where you're coming from there, I too was a single mum, before I met my now husband and had similar thoughts to you. Fortunately it didn't bother my hubby and he's been a great support. I hope you are as lucky, after so long on your own, you deserve some fun.

Here's an update on Kathys dating scene: Met up with 1 guy had a Wonderful evening, will see him again this week, Met up with 1 guy - yuck!, talking to 2 others via phone and email, and I have a get together with 1 guy after work today!!!! Ahhh, I'm really nervous about this one, not sure why.....

Surprising to me I've had quite alot of interest, it gets kind of hard to keep it all straight...

Oh the 1 guy the yuck guy, his sister and uncle both have crohns! So we had that to talk about....but that was it....no chemistry and he was a dud with conversation otherwise. Oh well, there seems to be plenty more out there!
