Waiting on call back from gi. For the past 3 days my stomach has hurt like a sharp cramp and has stuck out like I'm preggo but I'm not. Its hard to touch and it hurts if someone does touch it. Is this abnormal? Or something that can just wait and go away on its own.

HI Xoxava, it's not normal i have had the same problem now for several months now. and it's there all the time. Either it's a spasm and it will go away in a few days or if it's still tender in a week or so then there is something wrong. I've had to take pain killers for my pain and it's only keeps it at bay for a few hours it especially hurts when i eat something,the pain is radiating on the right hand side of my abdomen. So i am getting a colonoscopy on November 22nd to check it out.But, if i were you i would just try liquids for a few days or low residue diet and see will the pain go away on it own.Best wishes.
