My experience in killing bacteria and such in the intestinal tract has confirmed an important effect. If you are taking something that is killing any amount of bacteria the result is the usually Diarrhea.

The reason I think it is important is that it may be mistaken for a negative effect. The only way to distinguish between a negative reaction and an antibacterial effect is to keep taking it for a while and see if it goes away.
If is resolves itself, you now know why.

I (pure speculation) think the autonomic response of our bodies would be to rid itself of anything it considered bad for us in the most expedient way possible. I figure it's that response that causes so many of us to experience nausea or diarrhea. As for our natural flora (or would it be fauna?) i don't know if they play a part in moving things along in a hurry, or just in the protection of our mucous (sp?) layer coating our GI tract and the breakdown/absorption of food elements.
