Out of curiosity, has anyone here done Bikram Yoga? If so, how has it affected your IBD, if at all?
For those that don't know, Bikram Yoga is the heated yoga where everyone packs into a 105 degree(f) room with high humidity and then is taken through the same 26 postures. To say that it is physically, emotionally, and mentally tough is an understatement, at least for me.
I've been practicing Bikram for about 6 weeks now after having practiced traditional yoga for 6 or so years. While I can't say that Bikram Yoga has helped diminish my pain at all, it certainly hasn't made it any worse and my overall energy levels, mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall feeling of well being have gone up quite a bit.
Any other Bikram practitioners out there?
