I think I've ventured past localized large intestine flareup and I'm starting to think the disease has spread. I was on Remicade which was working wonders but I became highly allergic to it when I got pregnant. I'm now on lialda and humira which I have relief for a good week and a half but a few days before my next humira shot i start passing blood. I just had my humira shot on tues and it's now thurs. Things are "calminG down" however I've noticed a few things which aren'tordinary for flares for me.

First istarted noticing black blood. I figured Iit may be old blood at first in the ulcers as they are attempting to heal however it's been pretty obvious that may not be it as its become pretty bad. The second issue...i have no idea what it is...it's white and looks a lot like lotion. The only thing I can think of is puss. It often comes out when I fart...it's only happened twice (tues before the humira and this morn).

I had a preemie baby 3 months ago who i am breastfeeding and i also have a cold which developed yesterday, I took some tylenol at night so I could get some rest(i may have taken some tylenol mon night as well...could the white stuff be the tylenol?) Also...what treatment would be left for me to do? I've done prednisone, lialda, 6mp, Remicade and humira...where does treatment go from there?

The black blood and white discharge seem concerning. Have you let your Dr know? I think its really important especially to find the source of bleeding, and quickly before more problems can develop. Black blood could mean an uper GI bleed. The white discharge I would guess it either like pus or mucus, but who knows? Have you checked to see if you have a fever? Another thing to talk with your Dr about is perhaps increasing your Humira dose. Some people take it every 10 days or every 7 days instead of every 2 weeks. Please call your Dr about your new symptoms if you haven't and keep us posted.
