Blood work before Humira?

What types of blood work did you get before starting Humira? My doc has ordered a PPD (is this TB?) and Hep B. I asked about doing a full blood panel since they have never done one on me. They are still referring back to the workup I had done while in the hospital in the middle of a huge flare back in February. Does this sound right?

The PPD is for TB which is standard along with hep to rule out. I agree full blood work is due.

Many places draw labs at the time they do the infusion. They place the IV, draw the labs and then do the infusion. You might ask if this is what your doctor does and what labs he orders. This way the labs are done at each infusion so you are getting them done at least every 8 weeks once you get into maintenance therapy.
