Brown blood

Hi everyone, while i was away the weekend i had very painful diareah and had some what i can describe as brown blood in my underwear afterwards, it kind of looks like some watery diareah has leaked into my underwear except it doesnt smell and you can see a little black blood clot on there to, have any of you had this before?

Hiya i went to my gp today who is going to get in contact with my gastro doc 2 see if they can bring my appointment foward she said its not right and has sent me for some blood work to see if that shows up anything in the meantime

With the darker blood it usually means that you are bleeding further up in the small intestine. Possibly a lesion. When I had lesions they would normally be healed up before the GI could scope me.

What a great question! I haven't experienced what you are describing, but I have been bleeding for over a month now and sometimes it is really dark. I do think the farther up the GI track, the darker the blood.
