Budesonide and Menstrual cycles

Hello All,

Any ladies taking budesonide (entocort) experience irregular/missed menstrual cycles on this medication?
Some references say it is uncommon but can happen then other references place it right in the normal side effect list. I am curious to see if others have experienced this side effect.

Hi Jen ~ I was started on budesonide about a month ago, since then I've had my period for 2 straight weeks about 2 weeks after starting it & just got it again this week. My period on budesonide is far worse than my normal period. It's annoying but I'll take extra periods over crohn's pain anyday! Good luck!
